Shot Blasting

Shot blasting concrete is a resurfacing process that uses metal beads “shot” out of a machine to “blast” away tough debris and contaminants from your Concrete. It’s a comparable method to sand blasting, but it provides a much more powerful clean due to the size and speed of the metal pellets.

Shot blasting machines use a centrifugal blast wheel to shoot metal beads down at the concrete.

While the wheel spins, the beads are funneled in, launching them out through a space aimed at the concrete surface. The high velocity of the metal beads chips away the top layer, exposing a clean prepared surface.

Scarifying

Scarifying concrete is a process that uses spinning metal blades on a machine to chip away at the top layer of a concrete surface, removing coatings and creating a level space.
Scarifying machines work by spinning carbide-tipped (or hardened steel) blades, attached to a rotating drum, at high speeds.

The blades scrape and chip away at the concrete, which is then suctioned into a dust collector.

Grinding and Polishing

This process uses a relatively coarse metal-bonded diamond segments for grinding and profiling our floors.

Floor grinding is done using various metal and diamond segments, mounted on the bottom of large, powerful machines. These machines effectively prepare flooring surfaces for a wide variety of finishes such as epoxy coatings and concrete polishing. The right type of grinding can profile floors with almost no dust, removing minor divots, roughness, pits, coatings, glue and more.

Scrapping and Stripping

A floor stripper/scrapper is a rotary driven floor machine that’s powerful enough to remove layers from a floor’s surface. Floor strippers can be used on a range of different flooring materials, including carpet, vinyl, rubber, wood and ceramic tiles.

The machinery can also be used to remove adhesive or a sub layer.
